Every stay at TERRA farm + manor is a culinary adventure created to satisfy a range of eatable obsessions.

Your visit will be filled with hands on classes, spectacular meals, and countless activities at TERRA as well as tours and day trips to explore the surrounding area.

Chef Porter has created a range of cooking courses, each focusing on specialty techniques every guest will be able to repeat with confidence and creativity. Classes are adjusted to skill levels, and all the culinary tools needed for class are provided in our state-of-the-art recreational Cookery.

Our exclusive retreat features just 8 rooms (up to 16 guests), guaranteeing a once in a lifetime experience with award winning chefs and winemakers teaching, cooking, laughing, and sharing in the wonderful world of TERRA.

Cooking is an insatiable passion, art, and skill. No guest will leave TERRA without them.

We are proud to feature a state-of-the-art cooking school just steps away from the manor off of the main courtyard. Each station is fully equipped with all of the culinary tools needed for class, and features Subzero Wolf gas ranges and ovens to provide the ultimate cooking experience. Our intimate eight-person class size yields the most informative lessons with professional and playful instruction by Chef James Porter or a specially booked guest chef.

In addition to the Cookery, guests can expand their culinary techniques and knowledge in the Cookery Courtyard.  Comprised of a wood-burning oven, traditional and deep pit barbeques, and an open fire cooking area, this space allows guests to experience old Arizona styles of cooking.

Every cooking class at TERRA is custom designed for each visit and is determined by the season and guests’ culinary adventure level.

As each season yields noteworthy ingredients, Chef James has created “not to be missed” once a year classes and menus to spotlight Mother Nature’s hard work.

Sip drinks around the fire before retiring to a dimly gas-lit room, curl up under your Pima cotton sheets, and nod off to the melodic music of wildlife chattering just outside your window.

The luxurious manor at TERRA consists of eight rooms including one master suite, a guest lodge, game room, library, wine cellar, two dining rooms, multiple patios and verandas, and the TERRA Cookery.



Growing is a continuous, cyclical process on our farm.

With nine acres of vegetables, flowers, and herbs, a two-acre orchard, and a newly designed four-acre vineyard, TERRA is in a constant state of planting, growing, and harvesting.

Our 2019 growing schedule includes planting close to 200 varieties of vegetables, fruits, grains, and cotton in spring, summer, and fall. From exotic Italian and French varieties of vegetables to native Arizona plants, like Tepary beans. Our commitment at TERRA to constantly listen to the soil, sun, and rain never ceases. While some field rest, we do not.




As stewards of the land, we at TERRA hold the highest respect for those that graze on it.

Through our collaborations with local farmers, TERRA guests are able to see, touch, and taste the most incredible ingredients from around the globe. From full-blooded Iberico pigs and Bresse & French Black Copper Maran chickens from Europe to Wagyu cattle from Japan, TERRA affords the opportunity to experience the height in culinary sophistication while simultaneously enjoying the simplicity of farm life.
